Made in San Bernardino County, for a free afternoon.
Any Day Out puts the parks, restaurants, markets and events around you on one screen, so “what should we do?” becomes a plan in a couple of minutes.
Hi, I’m Carlos Cabán. I live in San Bernardino County, out in the Inland Empire.
The week goes fast out here. By Friday night the question is always the same: what should we do this weekend? And the answer kept being the same three places. Not because there’s nothing to do. There’s a night market on Spring Street, trails in the foothills, a new taco spot every month. Finding them just meant digging through city calendars, old Facebook posts and map pins.
Los Angeles has event guides. Out here, nobody was putting it all in one place. So I started building one: everything near you with photos, a way to save the places you want to try, and a link you can send to your partner or your friends so you can pick together.
It started with my own Saturdays. Now it covers the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County and Dallas, and it gets more like you the more you star.
— Carlos Cabán
Where the information comes from
- Events
- The official event calendars of the cities we cover.
- Places
- Public business listings and each business’s own website. We link back to them, and you can always check the source.
- Descriptions
- Short summaries written by AI from a business’s own pages, then checked against those pages. Anything we can’t confirm is left out.
- Maps and photos
- Maps from OpenStreetMap contributors, photos from businesses’ sites and from Wikimedia Commons, credited on each place. See all sources.
What you can count on
- No paid placement. Nothing here is ranked because someone paid for it.
- Your data stays yours. We don’t sell it. Delete your account and your stars, plans and saved places go with it.
- Businesses have a say. Owners can claim, correct or remove a listing from its page.
